Stylist and Mua for the videoclip DOTTORE by Troyamaki
Troyamaki is an iridescent singer-songwriter who enjoys creating small digital dimensions in which fictitious characters tell stories halfway between the tangible and the surreal. His colorful narrative abounds with references to the post-internet dimension and club culture, ranging with ease between apparently distant themes (perversion and sweetness, abandonment and sentimental interdependence, nods to Milan nightlife and use of dialect) thanks to a highly recognizable stylistic code. Musically influenced by both international references (such as the hyperpop of Dorian Electra and Charli XCX) and local ones (Raffaella Carrà, M¥SS KETA, Eiffel 65), theTroyamaki's t-pop aims to represent a meeting point between the most futuristic derivations of contemporary urban music and the legacy left by vintage electronics.
The videoclip, written and directed by Vittoria Elena Simone, with its glitchy vibes and its colorful wide angle shots, aims to be both futuristic and vintage at the same time. Inspired to sci-fi and surrealistic movies, the styling follows the video's frenetic dance.
